Edmonton Oilers

Next up are the Oilers. For their uniforms, I went with the classic Gretzky-era look as the starting point. The Oil Rigger logo returns as a shoulder patch in the more simple color scheme. The third uniform is based on the ones they began play with in the WHA, and the fourth is based on the Edmonton Eskimos (WCHL 1911-1927). Interesting bit of trivia: they lost to the Ottawa Senators in the 1923 Stanley Cup.
